2011 Quilt Challenge Rules
1. Each participant will randomly select a light, medium, and dark paint chip from the paper bags.
2. All three colors must be present in your quilt.
3. You may use as many fabrics as you want in your quilt/project. However, ALL fabrics used in the quilt MUST have one of the three colors as the dominant color in the fabrics selected. You can use plain fabrics, fabrics with patterns, floral fabrics, etc... AS LONG AS each fabric's dominant/main color is one of the three colors you pulled.
(For example, let's say you picked dark pink, lime green and light blue paint chips. As a result , you will need to use one fabric that has a main color of dark pink, one fabric that has a main color of lime green and one fabric that has a main color of light blue. You can add more fabrics, but each additional fabric has to have dark pink, lime green or light blue as the dominant color. You can also use fabric that has all three colors in it.)
4. Your project must be a minimum of 80 inches around the perimeter.
5. You can make a quilt, a quilt block, wearable art, etc.
