2010 Quilt Challenge

 

 

1. Each participant will be given 5 fat quarters.

2. You must use fabric from all 5 of the fat quarters in your project.

3. You may add up to 2 additional fabrics of your choice.

4. You may purchase additional fabric from the fat quarter fabric you are given.

5. Your project must be a minimum of 80 inches around the perimeter.

6. You can make a quilt, a quilt block, wearable art, etc.

 

Projects will be displayed during the 2011 Sew Happy Hearts Annual Quilt Show

Definitions

Charm packs are a collection of fabrics cut into 5x5 inch squares and bundled together.

 

A layer cake is a collection of fabrics cut into 10x10 squares.

 

A Jelly roll is a collection of fabrics cut into 2.5 inch strips the width of the fabric.

 

A honey bun is a collection of fabrics cut into 1.5 inch strips the width of the fabric.

 

A turn over is a collection of fabrics cut into triangles.
