 The first Sew Day and Workshop Day was January 14, 2012.
 
   

 Quilt of Valor quilts,  made from red, white, and blue fabrics, were started. These quilts will be

completed by Sew Happy Hearts members.

I Spy Raffle Quilt

Made by Rosie Westendorf and quilted at a quilting bee in Rosie's home.

Proceeds will be donated to Hospice in memory of Blake Durdel.

 

Winnie Crowder & Pam Romack

 

Winnie Crowder,Director of Advancement for Cunningham Children's Home, was the guest speaker for the November meeting of the Sew Happy Hearts. She spoke about the history of Cunningham, their mission, and how quilts are a part of the Cunningham heritage. She explained that since Cunningham opened in 1895, every child that comes into the home is given a hand-made quilt to have as their own. Following her presentation, Winnie was presented with nine quilts made by Sew Happy Hearts quilters to be given to children at Cunningham. .The presentation was done  by Pam Romack, President of Sew Happy Hearts.

 

 

First quilt to be donated to Cunningham Chidren's Home was made in 1894.
